Fiverr Lets You Make Money Online Doing Whatever You Want

There are thousands if not millions of ways to make money online, some are real opportunities, some aren’t. If you take the time to think about each one, you should be able to tell which are real and which aren’t.

Today, I’d like to present to you a website that will allow you to make money doing whatever you want, from graphic design, to marketing, to programming, to translation and even some silly things. The website is called Fiverr, and basically you can sell your services or products for $5.00 a shot.

Here are some of the things I’ve done and gotten paid (via Paypal) for:

  • Post a status update on Facebook or Twitter.
  • Follow someone on Twitter, or like a Facebook page.
  • +1 a link on Google Plus.
  • Translate from English to French.
  • Comment on blogs.
  • Write articles on my blog with links.

I don’t do anything hard, or that takes too much time, after all you wouldn’t want to have to spend an hour doing something for only five bucks. I usually try and make it things I can do in 5-10 minutes, and if it will take longer, I’ll tell the buyer that I can only do it if they purchase more gigs.

A very popular service is video creation or graphic design, I have no experience in both fields so that’s why I don’t offer any of those services, but I have bought 6 logos on Fiverr, 2 were incredible, 3 were good and only 1 was a bust, so it’s a great average, especially for only five dollars a shot.

I’m thinking of ordering a video for a landing page of mine, I might order 2-3 and then test them for the best one.

Take a look at Fiverr today, and if you have no ideas what services you can offer, check the right hand side for ideas, you can contact the members directly if you’re willing to do what they want for five bucks.

Fiverr is certainly a great idea, but it takes a lot of work to make any real sort of money I think. However every fiverr counts!

I’ve checked out Fiverr its neat. The only thing is that every one list their skills there and we are not sure if its going to work. And some don’t even seem professional.

There are some people that aren’t professional, like eBay, eLance or other websites that is based on users check the reviews. In some cases you can even ask the seller for a sample of work or a mock up of what you want.

Kim’s right. Some people do game the ratings. There are people I know who have bought their own gigs (using a second Fiverr account) to boost their credibility. After all, who would you rather buy a gig from, all else being equal: Someone with zero feedback or someone with eleven?

Since buying one of your own gigs only costs you $1.08 (you spend $5 but you get $3.92 back), it’s easy to see why people do it.

Do you have any examples to show us, it seems like a lot of money for each rating, I’ve ordered about a hundred gigs, and the work hasn’t always been great, but always what was promised. Some people expect too much.

Most of the time the issue I have is people not delivering on time.

I am definitely a fan of Fiverr and have been using it for a while. I have had success in providing resume critiques for 5 bucks and have converted many of them into full paying customers for my resume writing business. I have also purchased link building type packages in the past. I think I will head on over and see if I can buy some posts with incontent links. I have a couple of new sites that I am looking to build links for.

I really like Fiverr, the idea is spectacular and with the amount of conversation being blurted around the web, I am betting it’s going to be a big success. I’ve used it to hire for logo creation and for the money, the experience has been good. I love the idea of having videos done, for only $5 a shot how can you go wrong? Even if it only had a 50% success ratio. I haven’t used it for anything else yet and I haven’t tried to offer any services yet but I’m sure that is coming soon.

I used fiverr for some link building a while back and it was awesome. I try to buy the ones that have more quality based links rather than quantity. I just think that if I get 10-20 PR4-7 backlinks it’s better than a 1000 low pr links or worse no follow links. It’s a nice way to outsource a few things without breaking your bank!
